The founder and creative director of Octavo, Sue Hough began
her artistic career with a bachelor’s degree in fashion
design from the University of Delaware. She grew up in the
Midwest and came to Frederick shortly after college. Sue brought
her graphic design talents to Just Your Type in her first
years here, and later helped Studio 20 start Production Studio,
a pre-press film output business she ran for two years. In
2000, she and a partner created Octavo Designs, Inc. Sue assumed
full ownership of the company in 2001 and her exceptional
talents have steered Octavo to become a strong force in the
design community. Today, Octavo is a nationally recognized,
award-winning firm serving clients throughout the mid-Atlantic
region.
